Meet the Designer
Hi! I'm Carrina.
I have fashion design in my blood. When I was a little girl, about 7 years old, I remember putting together a cute outfit for a family event with a pair of orange socks and feeling so happy – as happy as a little girl can be! My mom was a very talented dress-maker and I remember seeing her hand-sewn wedding dress and feeling so proud of my mom and her natural design talent. She never had the opportunity to cultivate her gift, and I am so grateful to be able to share our family talent with the world.
Women love my designs! I use bold prints and styles to empower women to step out of their comfort zones and to honor themselves. My clothing exercises their courage and eliminates their fear of being seen. I graduated from the pattern and design program at apparel art school, and I have been chosen to participate in the San Francisco Fashion Week because of my empowering designs.
The intention behind my style is to empower women all over the world. My father left when I was 13, and I used fashion design to find my voice and my confidence and to be free to express myself. Working on my craft nourishes my soul, because I can share my voice and inspire women everywhere. My pieces are all locally made, and my passion is to have global impact.
